Novation Dicer
After reading a random blog post about the new Dicer midi control from Novation, I instantly decided to order a pair. The Dicer is intended for use with the Serato Scratch Live software, and gives the user easy hands-on access to cue-points, loops and rolls. Since I am a heavy user of cue-points, I am glad that I no longer have to control this on my laptop keyboard. I have already used the Dicer at four or five gigs, and I must say that it has been a good investment. A bit unusual at first, but after a couple of hours of using it, it feels like I have never been without them. And of course, they fit seamlessly with the Technics 1210 turntables.
