Min Plass August 28 2010
Pictures from this weekend when I was playing at Min Plass in Bodø. Great night. I had tons of fun. I should have taken more pictures though, but when the club is banging, I am usually all up in the mix.

Pictures from wednesday 12th of August 2009 @ the 2nd floor of Club Gossip in Trondheim.
In November 2008 I submitted a 10 minute video with me mixing up some house/electro tracks to DJTutor’s YouTube DJ competition. And what do you know, I actually placed 3rd in the whole competition. Well, the prize included a nice feature of myself in the February 2009 issue of DJmag. So finally, here’s the pictures I shot from the magazine. A little late, but here they are:

Oh, yes, here’s the link to the video that got me this 3rd place:

The last 3 days I have been playing in the R&B Lounge of Trondheim’s new nightclub; “Club Gossip”. It opened last weekend and has 3 different floors with a separate DJ on each floor. The first floor is a “party bar” where the DJ plays a chaos-like mixture of all kinds of party music. The second floor, or “the club”, has a big dance floor with house beats pounding from the speakers. The third floor is a classy “R&B Lounge” with exclusive interior, a smooth bar and almost a billion mirror balls hanging from the roof. Well, you get the point. The following pictures are shot from my DJ booth where I played R&B music all night long.

Dude! Something shitty happened to my Serato-box at a recent gig. One of the audio cables between the mixer and Serato-box were torn out, and a little piece of the plug was stuck in the box. Luckily just in one of the “Thru-outputs”. And when I tried to get it out of there, it just went inwards. Anyway, the only thing to do was to open that little box from heaven and try to get the little bastard out of there.

You just can’t have a little gold-plated plug bouncing around inside your Serato.

Some pictures from my gig at Barbeint in Bodø, November 8th 2008.
When it was 30-40 minutes left of the night, I managed to break the needle on one of my pickups. This was actually the first time that ever has happened to me. And since someone currently is borrowing my backup pickup, I had to switch the Serato to internal-mode, and then switch the pickup from one turntable to to the other after each and every song… Not a huge deal, but I am glad that I didn’t have to do that for more that 40 minutes.
I’m on the Internet!
